The Border Security Force (BSF) has released a short notification for the recruitment of Constable Tradesman posts for the year 2025. This recruitment drive will fill 3588 vacancies across various trades. Both male and female candidates can apply once the online application process starts on the official website – bsf.gov.in.

As per the brief notice in the Employment Newspaper, the recruitment will fill a total of 3588 posts, divided as follows:

Who Can Apply?
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 18 to 25 years as of the closing date of application.
Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per central government rules.
Educational Qualification
For Technical Trades (like Electrician, Plumber, Painter, etc.):

Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board
AND -
Either a 2-year ITI certificate in the related trade

Or a 1-year ITI/vocational certificate with 1 year of experience in the trade
For Trades like Cobbler, Tailor, Washerman, Barber, Sweeper, Khoji, and Syce:

Class 10 pass from a recognized board

Proficiency in the trade

Must clear a trade test conducted by the recruitment board
