The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released a short notification for the recruitment of 4,543 Sub-Inspector (SI) and equivalent posts in 2025.
The One Time Registration (OTR) process is now live, and more than 2.5 lakh candidates have already registered. If you’re planning to apply, you must complete this mandatory registration before the official application window opens later this week.

How to Complete the OTR for UP Police Recruitment 2025
Before applying for any post, you must complete the One Time Registration (OTR). Here’s how to do it:

Fill in your details – name, father’s name, and date of birth.

Upload your documents and double-check all information.

Important Things to Know About OTR

You must use a unique email ID and mobile number. These will be used throughout the recruitment process.

You can register using your Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, Passport, or DigiLocker.

The details you enter must match your Class 10 certificate exactly – especially your name, gender, and date of birth.

If your Class 10 details are not available through DigiLocker, you can enter them manually.

OTR is compulsory. Without it, you can’t apply for any of the posts.
