UPPSC Teacher Recruitment 2025: The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released a new recruitment notification for 7,666 LT Grade Teacher posts in government schools across the state.
If you’re planning to become a teacher, this is a great opportunity. The online application process starts on July 28, 2025, and the last date to apply is August 28, 2025. You can make corrections in your application until September 4, 2025 by visiting the official website: uppsc.up.nic.in
Total Vacancies
UPPSC is hiring for a total of 7,666 teacher posts, divided as follows:

Male candidates – 4,860 posts

Female candidates – 2,525 posts

Divyangjan (PwD) candidates – 81 posts
Note: These numbers might change depending on the final update from UPPSC.
Eligibility Criteria
Age Limit
You must be between 21 to 40 years old as of July 1, 2025.
So, your date of birth should be between July 2, 1985, and July 1, 2004.
Age relaxation applies if you belong to a reserved category (as per UP govt. rules).
Educational Qualification

For most subjects, a B.Ed degree is required.

But here’s the big update: For Computer Teacher posts, B.Ed is now optional.
This change was made because, in 2018, very few computer teacher posts were filled due to the strict B.Ed requirement.
So now, even if you don’t have a B.Ed but meet other subject criteria, you can still apply for Computer Teacher roles.

First, complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) to get your OTR number

Use this number to fill out the LT Grade Teacher application form

Upload the required documents and pay the application fee

Submit the form and save a copy for future use
Note: UPPSC is working with the National Informatics Centre (NIC) to improve the portal and avoid technical issues.
