The Railway Recruitment Cell, Central Railway (RRC CR), has released a notification for the recruitment of 2424 apprentices under the Apprentices Act 1961. These apprentices will be trained in designated trades at various workshops and units within the Central Railway jurisdiction. Eligibility Criteria for RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment 2024
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed the 10th class examination (or its equivalent under the 10+2 system) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Additionally, they must hold a National Trade Certificate in the relevant trade, issued by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) or State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
Age Limit
- The minimum age required is 15 years.
- The maximum age limit is 24 years.
Selection Process for RRC CR Apprentice Recruitment
The selection will be based on a merit list, which will be determined by:
- Matriculation marks (with a minimum of 50% aggregate).
- ITI marks in the relevant trade.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the average percentage of marks obtained in both Matriculation and ITI.
