IOCL is offering 456 apprentice positions across technical and non-technical roles in various states, including:
- Delhi
- Haryana
- Punjab
- Chandigarh
- Himachal Pradesh
- Jammu & Kashmir
- Uttar Pradesh
- Rajasthan
- Uttarakhand
✅ Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, check if you meet the eligibility requirements for your desired position:
- Trade Apprentice: Must have completed Class 10 along with an ITI certification in the relevant trade.
- Technician Apprentice: Requires a full-time three-year diploma in the applicable field.
- Graduate Apprentice: A full-time regular degree (BBA/BA/BCom/BSc) with at least 50% marks is needed.
🔍 Selection Process
IOCL follows a merit-based selection process without any written test or interview. Here’s how it works:
- Candidates registered on the NAPS/NATS portal will be considered for selection.
- A merit list will be prepared based on the percentage of marks obtained in the required qualification.
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to:
- Older candidates (based on date of birth).
- If DOB is the same, candidates with higher marks in matriculation (Class 10th) will be considered.
- Medical fitness is mandatory as per IOCL’s “Pre-engagement Medical Examination” guidelines.
- After document verification and medical clearance, selected candidates will receive an offer letter for Apprenticeship Training.

Application Mode: Online
To apply, follow these steps:
- Register on the NAPS/NATS Portal (as per your qualification).
- Submit Your Application Online via the IOCL website.
- Upload the Required Documents in a single PDF file (Max 5 MB) by February 13, 2025.
🚨 Important: Multiple submissions won’t be accepted, and incomplete applications will be rejected.

All applicants must upload a single PDF file (max 5 MB) with the following documents in the exact order mentioned:
✔ 10th/Matriculation Certificate & Marksheet (for Date of Birth proof)
✔ Marksheet & Certificate/Degree for Required Qualification (ITI/Diploma/Graduation)
✔ CGPA to Percentage Conversion Formula (from University/Institution, if applicable)
✔ Caste Certificate (in the prescribed Central Govt. format, if applicable)
✔ Caste Validity Certificate (only for Maharashtra candidates)
✔ PwBD Certificate (if applicable, in prescribed format)
✔ EWS Certificate (if applicable, in prescribed format)
✔ PAN Card/Aadhaar Card
✔ Recent Passport-Sized Photograph
✔ Signature in Blue Ink
💡 Note: Documents must be uploaded through the IOCL website link only. Email or hard copies will not be accepted.
⚠ Incomplete Applications
Applications that are incomplete or missing required documents will be automatically rejected. Ensure all documents are uploaded correctly to avoid disqualification.
