What is the NTRO Scientist ‘B’ Posts Eligibility and Age Limit?
The examination authority has released the eligibility criteria and age limit. Candidates can refer to the official notification for details.
The candidates who have a valid GATE scorecard (for Electronics & Communications’ and ‘Computer Science’ – GATE 2021, 2022, and 2023, and for Geo-Informatics and Remote Sensing Gate -2022 and 2023 only) are eligible.
Educational Qualification: The candidate should have a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institution in the subject from which they are applying
Age Limit: The maximum age of the candidate as of the last date of the online application should be 30 years. However, relaxation of age will be given to reserved category candidates.
NTRO Scientist ‘B’ Selection Procedure
The candidate will be selected solely based on their performance in a written examination and interview.
Eligible registered candidates will be shortlisted based on a valid GATE score (not GATE marks or GATE ranks) in descending order in each category of the respective subject. The assessment of the shortlisted candidates will be made based on performance in two stages. The first stage would be a written examination (CBT-based), and the second stage would be an interview.
NTRO Scientist ‘B’ Salary
The selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Level-10 of the Pay Matrix (Rs 56,100–1,77,500). Additionally, DA, other perquisites and allowances, HRA, medical facilities, etc., as per the govt’s rules, are in force from time to time during training or after absorption.
