Office of the Commissioner of Customs Cochin Recruitment 2025:
The Office of the Commissioner of Customs (Preventive), Cochin has released a recruitment notification for Group C (Non-Gazetted/Non-Ministerial) posts under the Customs Marine Wing. Interested candidates can apply in the prescribed format on or before December 15, 2025.
A total of 19 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive. The posts include Tradesman, Seaman, Greaser and Senior Store Keeper.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the required educational qualifications and work experience for the respective posts. The detailed eligibility is given below:
Tradesman

ITI certificate in Mechanic, Diesel, Fitter, Turner, Welder, Electrician, Instrumental or Carpentry

Class 10 or equivalent
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in Engineering, Automobile or Ship Repair organisations
Seaman

Class 10 pass or equivalent
-
Three years of experience in a sea-going mechanised vessel, including two years of helmsman and seamanship duties
Greaser
-
Class 10 pass or equivalent
-
Three years of experience in a sea-going mechanised vessel handling main and auxiliary machinery maintenance
Senior Store Keeper
-
Class 10 or equivalent
-
Minimum 8 years of experience in storekeeping related to automobile or engineering, including accounting and procurement work
