Candidates who submit an online application must pay the application costs according to their category. The price for the general category is Rs 500, while for the reserved categories, minority and female candidates, it is Rs 250. Railways would return the application costs of Rs 400 or Rs 250, whichever is applicable, once applicants attempt the first stage of the exam. Check the table below for category-wise fees.

Registration is the first step in the RRB NTPC application process. Here is a step-by-step guide to completing the registration process with ease.
Step 1: Go to the official RRB website, i.e., rrbapply.gov.in.
Step 2: Hit “APPLY” to register themselves on
Step 3: The registration form will be displayed. Now, enter the basic details, i.e., the name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, Aadhaar number, etc., to complete the registration process.
Step 4: Hit the “Preview and Create Account” button to complete the registration process.
