Teacher Recruitment 2024: In the latest move, the Uttar Pradesh government has released a detailed notification regarding the recruitment process of teachers and instructors across the state. As per media reports, the state government has issued rules regarding the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) which is responsible for the recruitment of teachers across the state.
It is noted that the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) is the body that is responsible for the functioning of the recruitment process for teachers in government-run and aided schools and colleges across the state.
According to media reports, as per the latest government notification released regarding the recruitment process for teachers and instructors, it will be mandatory to give a minimum of 40 percent marks to the candidates invited for interviews based on the written examination. Again, it has been said that they can receive a maximum of 90 percent marks in the interview for the same.
The government notification further says that to ensure a fair and transparent selection of qualified and capable teachers and instructors in the state, UPESSC will conduct examinations for the recruitment of instructors in basic, secondary, and higher education and other concerned colleges in the state.
It has been said that under the selection process, the number of candidates called for interviews from among the successful candidates in the written exam will be 3 to 5 times the number of vacancies. As per the rule, the committee will decide the number of candidates to be interviewed on one board in a day and the number of boards for the same.
As per the recruitment process, the commission will release a detailed merit list by combining the marks obtained in the written exam and the interview. However, in such a selection process, which will be based only on a written exam, the commission will prepare a merit list based on the marks obtained in the written exam only.
