BPCL Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must possess the required diploma qualification along with the prescribed work experience or apprenticeship in the relevant discipline.
Chemical Posts (State Codes A & B)
Applicants must have:
- Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology.
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience or apprenticeship training.
Mechanical Posts (State Code C)
Candidates should have:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- At least one year of relevant work experience or apprenticeship.
Electrical Posts (State Code D)
Applicants must possess a diploma in any of the following:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Electrical Power Systems
- Electrical Engineering (Industrial Control)
A minimum of one year of relevant work experience or apprenticeship training is mandatory.

- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 25 years

BPCL Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
Stage 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The online examination will include:

- Duration: 120 minutes
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)

CBT Exam Pattern
- Technical/Subject Knowledge – 60 Marks

Stage 2: Skill Test & Medical Examination
Candidates qualifying the CBT will be called for a Skill/Proficiency Test (SPT). The skill test will be qualifying in nature.
Those who clear the skill test will undergo a pre-employment medical examination. Final selection will be made only after candidates successfully meet BPCL’s medical fitness standards.
BPCL Recruitment 2026 Salary
Selected candidates will be appointed in the NG-2 Grade.
- Pay Scale: ₹26,500 – ₹34,000 per month
- Starting Basic Salary: ₹26,500 per month
