AFCAT Recruitment Batch 2024 Exam: Selection Process
The Indian Air Force will send letters to candidates who pass the AFCAT 2 2024 exam, inviting them for the next step, called AFSB Testing. This testing has two parts:
- Stage 1: Here, candidates do tests like Officer Intelligence Rating and Picture Perception and Discussion. If they don’t pass this stage, they can’t move to the next one.
- Stage 2: This part is more detailed. Candidates face:
- Psychological Tests: Psychologists check their minds through written tests.
- Group Tests: Candidates do both mental and physical tasks.
- AFSB Interview: An officer talks with candidates to see if they’re fit for the Air Force. Those aiming for the Flying Branch also take the CPSS Test.
After passing both stages, candidates do a Medical Examination. If they clear everything, they get a spot in the Indian Air Force based on their performance in the exam and interviews. Then, they receive letters to join training.
