SSC GD Eligibility 2024 Nationality
As per the official notification, the candidates must be Indian citizens or,
- The subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, intending to permanently settle in India.
- Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.
SSC GD Age Limit
This is one of the most important criteria that candidates must fulfil. They must fall within the age limit of 18 to 23 years, which means they must not be born later than September 1, 2005. The commission will consider the date of birth mentioned on the Matriculation/Secondary Exam Certificate. Additionally, a 3-year age relaxation will be given to all categories. This implies that candidates should not have been born earlier than January 2, 1997, to avail themselves of it.

SSC GD Qualification
This is another pivotal criterion that candidates must meet. According to the official notification, all candidates who have passed class 10 or matriculation from a recognised board are eligible to apply for the SSC GD 2024 exam.
