The Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board (PSSSB) has released an official notification for the recruitment of Excise and Taxation Inspectors. Eligibility Criteria for PSSSB Excise Inspector

Educational Qualification

Candidates are also required to have basic computer knowledge. This can be fulfilled by completing a 120-hour computer course with practical training in office applications or by possessing a DOEACC ‘O’ Level certificate.

Selection Process for PSSSB Excise Inspector Recruitment
The selection process consists of two stages: a written examination and a typing test. There will be no interview.
Written Examination
The written test will carry a total of 100 marks and will be conducted in offline mode. The duration of the exam will be two hours. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Salary for PSSSB Excise and Taxation Inspector
Selected candidates will receive salary as per the 7th Central Pay Commission guidelines. The starting basic pay is Rs 35,400 per month. In addition to the basic pay, employees will also receive other government allowances as applicable.
